Cruising

The J80 is a racing sailing boat, 8 meters length, fast and user friendly; it has the reputation to be the best! We welcome you on board that great sailing boat to show you the different tricks of navigation and boat handling, while always sailing in a thrilling way. Watch out, a J80 with the spinnaker up is the guarantee of wonderful sensations.

Calendar

The course is two days long. Depending of the weather conditions, this gives you time to visit the Morbihan Gulf, the Quiberon bay and the Houât, Hoëdic or Belle-Ile islands.

You will approach all aspects of coastal navigation, from racing and handling  the boat under sail (steering, jibing, hoisting the spinnaker…) to navigation and maneuvering in close quarters (departure, arrival, parking…). The study of nautical maps, the use of instruments and meteorology are also part of the program.

Other formulas are also available : one day or half a day, renting for a family ride or for participating to regattas ... so don’t hesitate to share your wishes with us, we will do our best to adjust to your wishes!

Out of season, come and join us every weekend : Regatta training or navigation courses, Saturdays from 14 to 18 and Sundays from 10 to 17.

Who should attend this sailing course?

Anyone can sign in; it does not matter if you’re a beginner or an advanced sailor!  The instructor will adapt the navigation program to your level. The aim is to sail as much as we can to give you a sense of autonomy and freedom on the water.

Please don’t forget

• Warm and waterproof clothes are highly recommended (boots and oilie) as well as sun glasses, solar protection cream and a hat.
